Is this laser?
- This is not laser! Laser is a reduction method, it does not destroy the hair follicle which can lead to eventual hair regrowth.
How many sessions will I NEED?
- This is part of the treatment that will be discussed during your consultation. The number of treatments depends on several things such as the location being treated, how much hair you have, previous hair removal methods, and your time/availability. In general, it will take 1-2 years to achieve total hair removal. Electrolysis is a process but commitment will have you there in no time!
Where can electrolysis be done?
- Electrolysis can be done over the entire body except inside your nose or ears!
What should I expect during my consultation?
- During the consultation, we will discuss many things like your medical history and previous hair removal history. I’ll explain what electrolysis is and how it works. I’ll do a skin and hair exam and a 15-minute session & lastly, we will come up with a treatment plan specific for you and of course answer any questions you have!
Can you remove the hair over my tattoos?
- 100% YES!
Does it hurt?
- Most people say it feels like a heat or burning sensation. But everyone is different. At your consultation, we will discuss ways to make the treatment more comfortable.
